Welcome to St Albans Tandoori Restaurant, established in 1984 and family run ever since. Situated in St Peters Street St Albans we are close to the town centre and ideally positioned for the many attractions that St Albans has to offer.
We offer a wide variety of carefully prepared meals made with the finest ingredients to traditional and modern recipes. Our authentic Indian dishes have been passed down through the generations and it is our pleasure to prepare them to your taste, we constantly develop our menu and offer many modern Indian dishes of the highest quality.

Atmosphere

Our restaurant is in one of the older 16th Century buildings of St Albans in Hertfordshire and yet has a modern contemporary atmosphere, it is large enough for larger parties and yet small enough to remain intimate and comfortable. Inside the restaurant are quiet areas where couples can enjoy a romantic meal together and larger areas where groups can sit together comfortably and enjoy excellent Indian food and hospitality. We strive to keep the highest standards in our service to you and if you have any special requirements we'll be only too happy to help.

St Albans Tandoori menu is prepared to the highest standards using the finest quality ingredients, awarded the Good Eating Guide Certificate of Outstanding Achievement our Chefs are dedicated to preparing your meal not only to a high standard but exactly how you like it, our vegetarian menu is prepared seperately to recognised standards for vegetarian cuisine using all meat-free ingredients and preparation.
Our Take Away menu includes most of our Restaurant menu and is prepared to the same high standards, we can deliver to the St Albans area too if you wish or we can prepare it for you ready to collect.

Function Room

Our private function room is available for hire with up to 40 covers and available outside normal opening hours if you require. We can also cater for parties at your own venue, please contact us with your requirements.
